Amanda Gray is a Boston based yoga teacher who began practicing vinyasa style yoga in 2011 in the midst of changing careers. After practicing meditation for years, it wasn't until she began the physical practice of asana that she developed a regular yoga practice. Immediately recognizing the emotional and physical benefits of her practice, she was inspired to share it by teaching to others.
Specializing in a restorative style class, you will find gentle movements, thoughtful transitions and a feeling of deep connection and rest in Amanda's classes. Studying under Natasha Rizopolous of Down Under Yoga in Brookline has influenced Amanda's style to rely deeply on the alignment in flow as well as to reflect upon the Yoga Sutras, an ancient yogic text. Combining alignment cues with healing words Amanda creates a welcoming environment to all students of all level.
Amanda currently works in the financial tech industry and in her spare time enjoys attending yoga retreats & workshops to further her practice as well as traveling, cooking, and reading.
