Melissa’s teaching style is best described as power/athletic vinyasa. After being captain of her Division 1 field hockey team, coaching for 16 years, and qualifying 3 times for the Boston Marathon, Melissa knows how to get the most out of her students.
That said, she also firmly believes that emotionally integrating yoga to deepen self-awareness, cultivate mindfulness, patience and strength is just as important as the fitness benefits of regular yoga practice.
Melissa also does fundraising for Boston Children’s Hospital.
