Colin is from Johnson City New York where he grew up in a wrestling family and community. From a young age he trained with his uncle who most recently was the head wrestling coach at the University of Oklahoma (OU), and has coached in the olympics.

Growing up Colin had exposure to elite level athletes. Colin competed as a wrestler from pewee wrestling through high school where he was nationally ranked and ultimately placed 5th at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) tournament. He has also always been a multi sport athlete.

There is very seldom an athletic challenge that he won’t pursue, attempt, or study with vigor. Colin discovered yoga at a crucial time in his life & attributes Yoga as the primary factor in avoiding a deep depression in the years following his mothers untimely death.

Colin graduated from the Gaia Flow Yoga teacher-training program (Dallas,TX) and is a certified 200-hour registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and is currently also an instructor at Core Power yoga.

Colin enjoys challenging yogis to their new edge in order for them to gain strength and flexibility and mental toughness through the poses. He is passionate about the benefits of a consistent yoga practice and.

What Colin loves most about teaching Yoga is that compared to athletics there are no losers - everybody can only win by showing up to their yoga mat. It will help you no matter what you apply the practice to!
